2013 Halloween Boo Ha Ha

Posted on November 2, 2013 at 12:45 AM

We had a wonderful time today with all the Trick or Treaters who came by to see us! We hope you all had a great time with us in our Boo HaHa and the Haunted Room of Terror this year. I would like to thank all my wonderful, outstanding, (there aren't enough adjectives) stupendous volunteers who gave countless hours of their time painting and helping us decorate the library for this party. We could not have done this without you.

I also wish to thank my costume judges this year, Greg Clark, Rhonda and Charlie Zalmanzig. They had a tough job.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the Library Ladies, who came in early, stayed late, and worked their buns off so that we could get everything done on time.  :D

SRP Thank You!

The 2013 Wagoner City Public Library’s Summer Reading Program was so much fun for us. We had a blast getting to know so many of our community’s children, their parents, and grandparents. We’d like to thank all of them along with Joyland, and Pumpkin Patch Daycares for sharing their wonderful young people with us and bringing them to WCPL. We sure hope that everyone had as much fun as we did. No one can do all the things that we were able to do without help, and we had so many wonderful volunteers who came to assist us with our programs. They are indispensable and so very much appreciated. These wonderful businesses helped us with our 2013 Summer Reading Program and our Carnival with their donations: American Bank, Arvest Bank, 1st Bank & Trust Co., Blue Bell, Dr. Aaron Harman, Dr. Gary Bryant, Frontier Ministries, KFC/Taco Bell, Love Bottling Co., Pizza Hut, Sonic Drive-In, City of Wagoner and the Wagoner Police Department. Please thank these businesses for helping our kids have so much fun and supporting our Summer Reading Program. Last, but in no way least, we could not do our Summer Programs without a generous grant from Lake Region Electric Cooperative Foundation, Inc. and the Oklahoma Arts Council. They help make our programs possible and let us bring more enrichment for our community and our children. Once again, we would like to thank everyone involved for helping us make this year’s program a wonderful success.
